Engagement rings from the goldsmith: unique pieces for the proposal
At TRIMETALL, engagement rings are created far removed from uniform, mass-produced goods.
Each piece is a unique, handcrafted item that reflects the personality of your relationship and can be perfectly coordinated for future pairing with your wedding bands.
Why choose an engagement ring from a goldsmith?
An engagement ring accompanies your partner for a lifetime. By choosing a piece from our goldsmith workshop, you are opting for deliberate quality and individuality:
- Genuine craftsmanship: Every ring is forged by hand from scratch by our designers and goldsmiths in Cologne. You can feel the difference in the tactile quality, the weight, and the flawless finish.
- Customization: Width, height, surface texture, or the type of stone setting—we tailor every element precisely to your wishes.
- Precious metals: We work exclusively with high-quality alloys. Our white gold, for instance, is a pure gold-palladium blend—completely nickel-free and hypoallergenic.

Our Materials: Precious Metals with Character
We use the finest metals for the engagement rings crafted in our workshop. Choose the material that best suits your special someone:
Gold (Yellow Gold, Rose Gold & White Gold)
We prefer to work with high-quality 585 and 750 gold alloys. While warm yellow gold exudes classic elegance, our distinctive white gold—thanks to its palladium content—features an elegant, slightly warm grey tone without the need for artificial rhodium plating.
Platinum 950 or 600
The most precious and rarest of all jewelry metals. Platinum captivates with its substantial weight, extreme durability, and a refined, pure grey appearance.
Palladium
A close relative of platinum, palladium offers a similarly cool, sophisticated grey aesthetic but is significantly lighter, providing a modern, contemporary alternative for distinctive designs.

From Solitaire to Textured Rings: Our Diverse Designs
Whether timelessly classic or unconventionally modern—you will find inspiration for every taste in the TRIMETALL jewelry gallery.
- The classic solitaire: A single, sparkling brilliant-cut diamond in a delicate prong or bezel setting. For lovers of timeless elegance.
- Rings with textured surfaces: Organic textures such as a hammered finish or distinctive surface markings ("Traces"). For individualists seeking something special.
- Colored gemstones: Accents featuring sapphires, tourmalines, aquamarines, or exquisite colored diamonds. For those who wish to make a bold statement with color.
- Material combinations: An exciting interplay of different gold tones or contrasts between silver and gold. For lovers of modern, high-contrast design.

How your personal engagement ring is created at TRIMETALL
Whether you have a specific design in mind or wish to draw inspiration from the creations in our gallery, we guide you through every step of the process:
- Consultation & Ideation: A personal meeting in our studio. Visit us at our goldsmith workshop in the heart of Cologne. We discuss your vision, determine the correct ring size, and work together to select the ideal precious metal and the perfect gemstone (such as a sparkling brilliant-cut diamond).
- A Wax Model (optional): Experience the proportions. To ensure complete confidence in your choice, we can create a full-scale wax model upon request. This allows us to fine-tune the width, thickness, and visual impact until you are one hundred percent satisfied.
- Craftsmanship: Created in our open workshop. Your ring comes to life through expert craftsmanship in our visible workshop on the upper floor. From melting the metal to setting the stone, we pour all our skill into creating this unique piece.
- The Big Moment: Ready to say "Yes." You receive your perfectly finished engagement ring.
Many of our engagement rings are designed to pair beautifully with a wedding band later on, allowing them to be worn together on the same finger. We would be happy to coordinate the design with this future combination in mind.
Visit us during our opening hours in downtown Cologne or schedule a personal consultation. We look forward to translating your love story into precious metal.
